The North American International Auto Show is a site to be seen around the country, but in the Detroit area it is a chance for the millions of local auto workers that live here to see what they may be producing and take pride in their company's name. Every year in January, the Cobo Center hosts the Detroit version of the Auto show and every year well over a half million people make the trip to the venue to take in the glory. This is a show for everyone, even the little ones. This years event took place from January 19 thru January 27th. It was a week of beauty, style, and concept. If you are a people watcher there is something here for you. If you are a car aficionado this is your dream, and if you are just looking for your next vehicle this is the place to start. "Look here". Drivers are now afraid to drive the truck out of fear for being mistaken by cartel gunmen as a rival. I quickly came to a startling conclusion: people will sing along to anything. The content of the song doesn't matter. Politics simply don't enter into it. People are really singing along to the melody, or the bass line or something. What the words actually mean is immaterial. But there is certainly good news for those who just have no idea where to celebrate the holidays. You see, the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum is actually inviting everybody for a big event. The event is to actually celebrate the arrival of the new year, 2007. Come the last day of this year, 31st of December, there would be a celebration and an event which the museum dubbed as "A Classic New Year's Eve". No, the museum is not going to give away some of their cars or even some of the Custom buy truck new parts at the very least. It is perhaps a way of saying thank you to all those auto lovers and to all of the public who has wholeheartedly supported the auto museum through the year. To digress a bit, I need to tell you that Sgt. Grace lied. First, the language I was assigned to study was Vietnamese. I know that $20,900 is a goodly sum of money, but in 13 years we more than doubled our money. And that is looking at just the financial aspect of it. The many wonderful hours we had working on something together that we both love, you can't even put a price tag on that. Divorced folks really do not have any place to go for guidance. Sure a good friend offers a shoulder to cry on, but the tragedy of having personal credit destroyed from a broken marriage is serious.
