It is
the hour before midnight, on the harsh, gray flat asphalt road along the
banks of one of the Great Lakes . A truck races by like a
shadow, the moon glowing behind a small house. The car swiftly goes on
by, the dim light from the fogy night: --moon penetrating through the
fog onto the tuck and house, where a man is standing by the road; --
music is heard coming from the car, Rock & Roll, as this stranger
standing by the road, a man in a red plaid shirt, he stands erect, as if
he was Paul Bunion; standing in-between the road and the house as a
truck races by.
Chloe is 1 year old now and I am charged with the divine duty of
teaching her how to find her balance and courage. I am able to show her
that it's OK to dance and walk at the same time. Dad is 65 and as the
oldest daughter, I am also teaching him how to walk. They are not much
different really. One has been exposed to the storms of life and
withered them like a champion. The other is just starting to learn about
the ups and downs of living.
On the same hand, don't allow yourself to fall for tricks. Don't
fall for a pity story given to you by the other party. Some people- and
believe me, I've been involved in plenty of negotiations- will use
whatever device they can to make you feel sorry for them, especially
when it comes to money.
you
could try this out
I should always watch what I say
because with the PC their could be a small child on here collecting
those hunting stories like I collected them from my grandfather.
Although the word bullshit was one of those sacred words as a kid you
used to say just out of ear shot of mom and dad. It had it's own
mystique about it altogether back then. The dark
figure standing, staring by the street, is noticed by the two men in the
front seat of the truck, they stare but keep going, --trees blowing to
his right and left, the waves of the Great Lake of Superior, makes a
humming sound, and everything else, as if you were in the middle of a
hurricane, the stranger stands erect yet, never moving. He sees the eyes
of the passenger in the Ford-truck, a small figure, a man of about
forty, the driver calls him Skip, and he hears that. The taller man at
the wheel, his arms are solid, and frozen to the wheel, is called Amery,
for some reason you know he knows that.
My mother and father enjoyed much of their leisure time with
drive in movies, watching TV shows such as MASH, All in the Family,
Dukes of Hazard, and Andy Griffith. They enjoyed the music of Merle
Haggard, Freddy Hart and Conway Twitty. Lastly, they enjoyed fast cars
as well as many people did in the seventies. Drag racing was a fun event
for both my mother and my father. In the seventies my father owned a
1972 Ford Galaxy 500, 1970 Road Runner, 1973 Ranchero, and a 1976
buy truck
from owner. The cost of a new
vehicle was around $6000. Over all, the most rememberable event for my
mother in the seventies was in 1977 when Elvis Presley died. RSR Motorsports first raced a Honda Civic Si at Daytona
last year, and now all three of the team's Street Tuner class entries
are Civics. The 2012 season was a chance to learn the car, though
success came quickly in the form of a win at New Jersey Motorsports Park
and third at Barber Motorsports Park. In the local automotive arena,
decline in gas prices seem to benefit GM most. The automaker's truck
sales surged by 32.9 percent. DaimlerChrysler truck sales were up by
11.1 percent. Jeep and Dodge received most of the gains. Jeep auto parts
are proving what they are worth in Liberty and Commando. Consequently,
Dodge truck parts are still preferred by many truck enthusiasts. In October, the U.S. State Department released a the results of a
survey of 220 U.S. private companies which showed 15 percent of them
have postponed investments or expansion plans in Mexico due to the drug
violence now paralyzing that country.
