The North American International Auto Show is a site to be seen around the country, but in the Detroit area it is a chance for the millions of local auto workers that live here to see what they may be producing and take pride in their company's name. Every year in January, the Cobo Center hosts the Detroit version of the Auto show and every year well over a half million people make the trip to the venue to take in the glory. This is a show for everyone, even the little ones. This years event took place from January 19 thru January 27th. It was a week of beauty, style, and concept. If you are a people watcher there is something here for you. If you are a car aficionado this is your dream, and if you are just looking for your next vehicle this is the place to start. Hummer put together a very intriguing concept vehicle when it put out the HX. This SUV has a removable roof, can be transformed from a short bed pickup to a convertible and then back to the traditional square Hummer. This vehicle is geared for a younger crowd that wants versatility and I think they accomplished it. Saturn had a winner as well with its compact SUV, the Saturn Vue. This vehicle is a 2-mode hybrid and will be available later this year. It was a show stopper with its fuel economy and is pleasant to look at.

What the hell? Why would these people, this underclass, this despised minority, feel a kinship with a singer that represents the right wing status quo? Shouldn't these guys be listening to Steppenwolf (or at least Eminem)? Lets face it, the main stream of America doesn't hang out in places like this. This was like seeing Jewish kids singing Deutschland Uber Alles, for god's sake. site Hannah's was just a hole-in-the-wall, long and narrow with a bar running almost the whole length of the building. The brick on the face of the building, and the white wooden door outside, were nearly black from years of soot from the coke plant and steel mills. Patrons tended to be older folks who spent what was left of their paychecks on booze, Polish sausages, hard-boiled eggs, and illegal tip boards. As my eyeballs came back into focus, I watched him unfold the same pocket knife and as he bent to retrieve another chile from the plant, I prayed it wasn't for me. Realizing it wasn't I thanked the great capsicum god in the Hatch volcano and considered crying. Linda moved to Florida and got a job as a, school teacher, here in the area. She gets a notice that Ford Motor Credit is suing her for the deficiency balance on the buy truck frame that they repossessed from Outdoor Bob. The deficiency was over $5,500.00 Even though the Judge instructed Bob to make the payments, he didn't. The judge never thought to check with Ford Motor Credit to see if they would accept Outdoor Bob as the new guarantor on the loan. They of course wouldn't have done it anyway. After all, Bob's credit was terrible. That's something that a lot of married couples don't think about. Yes. You and the person you married are legally bound to one another. Your spouse (unless you legally put someone else in charge) will be the one they ask permission from if they ever have to pull the plug on you. Your spouse will get your social security money in the event of your passing. It didn't bother me that my wife had all these legal rights as my wife but it bothered her. She doesn't want me or any one else having legal powers over her.
