It is
the hour before midnight, on the harsh, gray flat asphalt road along the
banks of one of the Great Lakes . A truck races by like a
shadow, the moon glowing behind a small house. The car swiftly goes on
by, the dim light from the fogy night: --moon penetrating through the
fog onto the tuck and house, where a man is standing by the road; --
music is heard coming from the car, Rock & Roll, as this stranger
standing by the road, a man in a red plaid shirt, he stands erect, as if
he was Paul Bunion; standing in-between the road and the house as a
truck races by.
Again they slow down, then stop, look about, they hear
the water slapping the bank from the Great Lake again, but can not see
it. The breeze from the lake is picking up, as the window is rolled down
they can feel the breeze, there is a chill to it, so they roll it up a
bit more. Trees are swaying.
The first
thing you need to do is keep your emotions in check. This means, don't
try to cry, shout, swear, whine, moan, or groan your way into getting
what you want. This simply won't work. Act like a mature adult and try
to keep your emotions contained, no matter how loud the other person
might get.

I should always watch what I say
because with the PC their could be a small child on here collecting
those hunting stories like I collected them from my grandfather.
Although the word bullshit was one of those sacred words as a kid you
used to say just out of ear shot of mom and dad. It had it's own
mystique about it altogether back then. I listened to what Jake had to say and asked a few questions
of my own. I was totally shocked when I heard the dirt about what goes
on behind the scenes of the show. I picked Jakes' brain a bit with some
off the wall questions I have always had about the show and he threw in
some things I never would have had a clue took place on the set. I
thought I would make this fun and share some true or false questions
that lie behind all the media hype of ABC's number one family show.
I had just started on another beer when someone dropped a few
coins in the juke box. The music was bad country. To my utter disgust
the first song that played was that "I want to stick a boot up your
butt" super-patriotic, ultra-jingoist thing by the guy in the
buy truck online commercials. The people around me began to sing
along loudly. Skip: "Yes, yes, I saw
him! D' did you? He was by the trees, or was it in front of the
house...? No, by the road; gee, maybe it was both, he seemed to be in
both locations at once. A shadow effect I suppose." . My husband's best friend Jake is the lead contractor for a
large construction company on the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan. Last
year his firm was granted permission to build a brand new home Extreme
Makeover Home Edition in Armada, Michigan. So
there you have it. I have listed some of the more popular accessories
for a Ford truck. Of course there are many more such as performance
tuners and if you are going all out you can completely upgrade the
suspension. That will be another post for another day however. Until
then happy trucking my friends, hope to see you out at the truck
shows.
