Extreme Makeover Home Edition is one of the
Top rated Sunday Night TV programs and a great show for the whole family
to watch. It was a wonderful treat when the TV show came to visit my
state of Michigan and surprise a family in need.
However, while
Ford certainly saw the potential for soaring profits by basically
eliminating their payroll costs in Mexico where the daily minimum wage
is about $4.50 a day, they did not count on their business plan becoming
another casualty in Mexico's raging drug war.
What the hell? Why would
these people, this underclass, this despised minority, feel a kinship
with a singer that represents the right wing status quo? Shouldn't these
guys be listening to Steppenwolf (or at least Eminem)? Lets face it, the
main stream of America doesn't hang out in places like this. In fact,
most suburban middle class goons would prefer that these people simply
vanish from the planet. So why would the customers at Twisted Sisters
get behind this new super nationalism? This was like seeing Jewish kids
singing Deutschland Uber Alles, for god's sake.

LaBeouf was not to
blame for the accident, which occurred when another driver allegedly ran
a red light. A few hours after the crash, LaBeouf underwent a four-hour,
early-morning surgical procedure on his left hand. A few weeks later --
against the advice of at least one doctor, LaBeouf says he returned to
the Transformers set with a specially designed prosthetic bandage that
had to be rewritten into the plot line. Additional surgery was postponed
till after the film wrapped. I listened to what Jake had to say and asked a few questions
of my own. I was totally shocked when I heard the dirt about what goes
on behind the scenes of the show. I picked Jakes' brain a bit with some
off the wall questions I have always had about the show and he threw in
some things I never would have had a clue took place on the set. I
thought I would make this fun and share some true or false questions
that lie behind all the media hype of ABC's number one family show.
There were three major car
manufacturers. Ford, General Motors and Chrysler. Each manufacture had a
following. Arguments could erupt over which car was the best. A man's
Dodge pickup was a source of pride. Sunday morning the family would
dress in their best clothes and get into a Buick for the trip to church.
The Cadillac represented power and money while the Ford and Chevrolet
represented the working people. People that lived in the country had a
buy truck
mirrors. It was a working
truck and on Saturday's the kids jumped in the back for a trip to
town. That's something that a lot of
married couples don't think about. Yes. You and the person you married
are legally bound to one another. Your spouse (unless you legally put
someone else in charge) will be the one they ask permission from if they
ever have to pull the plug on you. Your spouse will get your social
security money in the event of your passing. It didn't bother me that my
wife had all these legal rights as my wife but it bothered her. She
doesn't want me or any one else having legal powers over her. Outdoor Bob, needed a truck
to go to work. Linda went with Bob to the local Ford dealer and bought a
new Ford pickup. Linda had the credit so the loan was in her name. About
six months later, Bob started to stop off on Friday at the local saloon
to cash his paycheck. Sure enough, there was a dart board there and a
few of the guys started tossing darts for beers. Bob was pretty good and
they invited him to be on the local dart team. Remember: be
prepared, have an agenda and keep focused on the discussion at hand.
Involve everyone from partners to associates to staff and keep an open
mind to marketing ideas, plans and needs. But most of all... make it a
true priority to institute those strategies when the retreat
ends.
